The Netatmo Relay is wired to the boiler and controls the heating.
It uses radio frequencies to connect to the Thermostat, on which the user sets the room temperature.
The Netatmo Relay also provides an Internet connection via Wi-Fi and remote control via the App.

The Netatmo Smart Modulating Thermostat is designed to work with OpenTherm modulating boilers and optimise their use. Its advantages? Boiler modulation control, smartphone remote boiler management, Auto-Adapt function, customisation according to your habits and ultra-precise PID smart climate control.

What is the maximum distance possible between the Smart Modulating Thermostat and the Relay?

The Thermostat stays connected to the Relay up to a distance of 100 metres outdoors. However, please consider that any obstacles such as walls or different floor levels can affect the connection range.

How is the Smart Thermostat powered?

The Thermostat runs on 3 supplied AAA batteries. The autonomy of the batteries is 2 years. The Relay is wired and connected to the mains via the boiler adapter.

Is it possible to manage a multi-zone system?

Yes, if the system has several heating circuits (e.g. ground floor and 1st floor). Each zone must be regulated by a Smart Modulating Thermostat or Smart Thermostatic Valves, depending on the type of system. This allows different temperatures to be set for different zones for greater comfort and energy savings.

Is it possible to create different heating programs?

Yes, it is possible to have up to 10 heating programs. This programmable system makes it possible to guarantee the desired temperature every day and to set multi-zone programs using additional valves.
