DESIGN

Light Now has won the prestigious international IF Design Award 2024, confirming BTicino’s ability to combine technology and design.
Light Now enhances the material component with slightly grainy surfaces that create sophisticated textures. This feature offers a unique tactile experience and allows for meticulously detailed material combinations.
A discreet central LED, illuminated in white or blue, at the end of the soft signature, makes the control more ergonomic, facilitating its identification.
COLLECTIONS
Light Now is available in nine elegantly monochromatic or tone-on-tone finishes, divided into three collections: Circular, Patina, and Stone.
Each collection is availble in 2 modules standard installation (available up to 4 gangs, with centre distance 57 and 71 mm) and 3 modules standard installation (available in 3, 4 and 7 modules).
Light Now’s Circular collection represents the conscious transformation of pure, natural materials such as viscose and mica. This innovation aims to reduce the use of virgin materials, fitting harmoniously into circular economy practices.
Available in three color variants: pure white with a matte finish, an ever-popular and modern must-have, and two exclusive eco-friendly finishes derived from viscose from fast fashion and Mica from construction waste, giving the surfaces an elegant texture on a smooth surface.
The Patina collection is distinguished by its consciously “imperfect” appearance, celebrating natural beauty. This effect, ideal for dark rooms that reflect the latest trends, infuses life and personality into any space, defining a sophisticated style that highlights furniture details.
The finish is achieved by applying a lightly pigmented water-based paint, used in controlled quantities. The end result is both durable and distinctive, adding a unique touch to any space.
It draws inspiration from natural elements such as sand and building materials, appreciated for their texture and granularity. This collection, created on a recycled polymer, is distinguished by a new texture that is stunning both to the touch and to the eye.
Three new finishes adapt to evolving lifestyles and spaces: the monochromatic Stone, a lighter one that recalls the shade of sand, and a darker one that recalls concrete. The water-based paint is made from organic raw materials obtained by fermenting biomass, and the characteristic textured effect is due to insoluble spheres.

With these new highly responsive controls, you only need to bring your hand close without touching the surface to turn on – off the light, ensuring high hygiene even for switches.
Light Now presents an innovative multifunction control that eliminates the need for long rows of switches on the wall. This system optimizes the control experience, integrating multiple functions in a single modularity. This results in more efficient management of the control groups, improving the use of space and simplifying management compared to individual control points.
The number of control points in the system can be increased using wireless devices that can be installed anywhere by the user and repositioned according to any new needs. Wireless controls are available in two versions: Battery-operated and no battery; these are particularly suitable in environments where you want to minimize maintenance of the electrical system.
For applications where a higher protection against water, dust and external agents is required, the no battery wireless control with protection rating IP55 is available. You can add, outside the house, controls for turning on the lights or for opening the gate, without the need for wiring.
Materials: Giving a second life to waste
The entire Light Now project, in continuity with BTicino values, is based on a sustainable approach which concerns procedures, technologies, environmental impact of the product, materials and packaging.

Fast fashion generates a large amount of waste, which seeks a new existence. We combined viscose fibers with recycled ABS, achieving an aesthetically intriguing result.
Mica is an interesting mineral of natural origin. We have added mica powder derived from construction waste to recycled polymers, resulting in better technical characteristics, reduced weight and an interesting visual appeal.
The plate, made from recycled ABS, is painted with water-based paint formulated using organic raw materials and materials obtained from biomass fermentation.
